About me

Hello! I’m Aaron, a passionate wildlife and landscape photographer with a deep love for capturing the untamed beauty of nature.

Drawn to the outdoors and all the wild things that live in it. I spend most of my time behind the lens chasing light, waiting on wildlife, and trying to capture honest, unfiltered moments, Whether it’s a chickadee landing on a snowy branch or a storm rolling over the prairie.

I’m especially drawn to photographing birds. I’ve built feeders, set up hides, and spent more hours than I can count just watching and waiting. There’s something about their movement and rhythm that keeps me coming back. My goal is to create photos and videos that feel real—not staged or flashy—but grounded in the quiet, everyday beauty of the natural world.

One of the highlights of my work has been photographing Grizzly 399 in Grand Teton National Park. She’s a legend, and witnessing her out in the wild was something I won’t forget. I’ve created a series of limited edition prints to honor her legacy—images that capture not just the power of a wild grizzly, but also the deep connection people feel to these rare encounters. Like all my limited edition work, these prints are made with care and offered in small runs.

I also shoot landscapes, particularly in places where I can slow down and just take in what’s around me. Some of my favorite shots have come from the Badlands, Grand Teton, and places that most folks might pass by without a second glance

What Inspires Me

Nature, mostly. The stillness, the unpredictability, the moments that happen when no one else is looking. I like the challenge of trying to capture a story in a single frame—something that makes people stop and feel something.

My Approach

I believe in the importance of patience and respect when photographing wildlife. I always prioritize the well-being of my subjects and strive to minimize my impact on their natural behaviors and habitats. My landscape photography often involves waiting for the perfect moment when light, weather, and composition align to create a magical scene.
